The assay delivers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measuring range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, using a colorimetric detection method with TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm. Validation data show linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 for serum (89-103%, 87-103%, 88-104%), EDTA plasma (89-101%, 84-97%, 90-96%) and heparin plasma (89-97%, 80-96%, 89-96%). Recovery ranges are 86-102% for serum (average 92%), 88-101% for EDTA plasma (average 98%), and 88-100% for heparin plasma (average 92%).
