Mouse GDF-8 (Myostatin) PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1374)

A colorimetric sandwich-format immunoassay from Assay Genie quantifies mouse growth differentiation factor 8 (GDF-8, also called myostatin), supporting research into muscle hypertrophy, atrophy, cachexia, and metabolic regulation. The PharmaGenie kit measures myostatin in cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum from mouse models, with 96 assays per kit.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, recombinant standards, and the wash and assay buffers needed for the run. Researchers in preclinical drug development use the assay to evaluate candidate therapeutics targeting muscle wasting disorders, exercise adaptation, and TGF-β superfamily signaling pathways.
