Mouse GAPDH ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (GAPDH) concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, this immunoassay from Assay Genie employs a Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection.

GAPDH is a key glycolytic enzyme that catalyses the first step of glycolysis by converting D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate, a critical step in cellular energy production. Dysregulation of GAPDH has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders, making the kit a useful tool for studying disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing showed ranges of 87–98% (average 93%) in serum, 91–101% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 85–97% (average 91%) in UFH plasma. Linearity was demonstrated at 85–105% in serum, 84–101% in EDTA plasma, and 80–98% in UFH plasma across serial dilutions. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV <8% and inter-assay precision as CV <10%. The kit should be stored at 4°C for 6 months and is for research use only.
