Gamma-melanocyte stimulating hormone (γ-MSH) is a pro-opiomelanocortin-derived peptide involved in appetite regulation, energy homeostasis, adrenal steroidogenesis, and pigmentation pathways. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie targets mouse γ-MSH and is supplied as a 96-assay pack sized for routine screening of experimental cohorts. The colour-based read-out is quantified by absorbance, with sample concentrations interpolated from a recombinant γ-MSH standard curve.
