Mouse Gamma-synuclein (Sncg) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse gamma-synuclein (Sncg) in research samples. The assay is reactive with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects natural and recombinant mouse gamma-synuclein, also known by the synonym persyn.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.171ng/mL, and precision figures of 6.2% intra-assay CV and 9.4% inter-assay CV. Linearity across serum (N=5) spans 92-101% at 1:2 to 104-113% at 1:16, while EDTA plasma (N=5) spans 88-98% at 1:2 to 105-116% at 1:16, and heparin plasma (N=5) spans 106-116% at 1:2 to 104-116% at 1:16. Recovery averages 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma.

Targeted at neuroscience applications, gamma-synuclein plays a role in neurofilament network integrity and has been implicated in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. The kit is intended for research use only.
