Mouse gamma-Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone/gamma MSH ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for quantitative measurement of gamma-Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone (gamma-MSH) in mouse samples, using a double antibody format with colorimetric detection. It has been validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. In linearity testing, serum samples (n=5) yielded 89-102% at 1:2, 92-103% at 1:4, and 88-101% at 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 87-101%, 84-98%, and 89-101%; and heparin plasma (n=5) gave 83-99%, 83-100%, and 82-93%. Recovery averaged 92% for serum (range 87-99%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 85-102%), and 99% for heparin plasma (range 95-104%).
