Mouse Galectin 6 (GAL6) ELISA Kit

Researchers studying mouse mucosal immunity and gastrointestinal inflammation can quantify galectin-6 concentrations using this immunoassay from Assay Genie. Galectin-6 is a tandem-repeat-type lectin containing two carbohydrate recognition domains and is predominantly expressed in mouse gastrointestinal epithelium, where it participates in mucosal barrier maintenance and innate immune signaling.

The kit provides reagents for 96 assays and is compatible with tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatant, and blood-derived specimens from mouse subjects. Detection relies on an enzyme-substrate reaction producing a colored product, with absorbance measured using a standard microplate reader.
