Mouse Galectin 12/GAL12 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric, Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the precise measurement of galectin-12 (GAL12) levels in mouse-derived samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for quantitative detection in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL with a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity, evaluated by spiking samples with the index and testing serial dilutions, was 85-102% (1:2), 85-103% (1:4), and 86-105% (1:8) in serum (n=5); 84-94%, 82-99%, and 85-96% in EDTA plasma (n=5); and 86-96%, 86-94%, and 84-99% in heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery was 85-103% (average 93%) in serum, 85-103% (average 92%) in EDTA plasma, and 87-105% (average 95%) in heparin plasma. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
