Mouse Galectin 1 (GAL1) ELISA Kit

A β-galactoside-binding lectin with broad roles in immune regulation and tumor biology, murine Galectin-1 (GAL1) is measured in many disease models using quantitative immunoassay workflows. The Assay Genie Mouse Galectin 1 (GAL1) ELISA Kit supports research use only studies of GAL1 expression across serum samples, plasma samples, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants. Investigators working on cancer immunology, autoimmune models, implantation biology, or pulmonary fibrosis apply mouse-specific quantification to compare wild-type and knockout colonies, monitor treatment responses, or stratify samples by genotype. Each kit is configured for 96 assays and follows a standard capture-and-detection procedure: pre-coated wells are incubated with samples and standards, washed, probed with a detection antibody, developed, and read as absorbance on a microplate reader. Standard curves are generated on every plate, allowing unknown sample concentrations to be interpolated in nanograms per milliliter equivalents. Reagents are supplied in single-use vials and should be equilibrated to room temperature before reconstitution; unused strip wells are returned to the sealed pouch with desiccant to protect from moisture. Sample integrity is preserved by avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles and by aliquoting stored material before long-term storage.
