Mouse GAL9/Galectin 9 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse GAL9/Galectin 9 ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody method for quantitative measurement of Galectin-9 in mouse samples. Galectin-9 is a protein involved in immune regulation and inflammation, with relevance to cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.

The kit is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 4.688 pg/mL, with an assay range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (85–94% at 1:2, 88–100% at 1:4, 85–98% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (83–101%, 89–99%, 82–98%), and heparin plasma (82–100%, 81–100%, 80–95%). Recovery ranges are 85–100% (average 94%) for serum, 86–101% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–105% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. The protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, and TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes.
