Mouse GAL8 (Galectin 8) CLIA Kit (MOES00280)

Galectin-8 (GAL8) is a tandem-repeat lectin that binds β-galactosides and participates in immune signaling, autophagy, and tumor microenvironment regulation. The Assay Genie Mouse GAL8 CLIA format uses chemiluminescent detection chemistry—typically HRP-luminol or acridinium ester—to deliver a wider dynamic range and sub-pg/mL sensitivity than standard colorimetric ELISA when quantifying mouse galectin-8 in serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatant.

Supplied as a 96-well microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, the kit includes lyophilized recombinant standards, a biotinylated detection antibody, Streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and chemiluminescent substrate. Typical assay workflow completes in approximately 3.5 hours using 50–100 µL of sample per well. Store unopened reagents at 2–8 °C; reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and held at –20 °C, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided. Intended for research use only and not validated for clinical diagnostic procedures.
