Mouse GAL1/Galectin 1 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of Galectin-1 (GAL1) levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double antibody sandwich format and provides a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. Galectin-1 is a key protein involved in immune regulation, inflammation, cell adhesion, migration and apoptosis, making it a valuable biomarker for research into cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.

Validated performance is supported by linearity and recovery data. Linearity for serum (n = 5) ranges from 93-104% at 1:2, 86-103% at 1:4 and 86-102% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n = 5) 83-98%, 90-95% and 85-90%; and for heparin plasma (n = 5) 84-91%, 82-91% and 86-99%. Recovery ranges are 92-103% (average 97%) for serum, 89-100% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma and 86-105% (average 91%) for heparin plasma. The kit is supplied in a solid-phase format and should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
