Mouse G6PC/Glucose-6-Phosphatase, Catalytic ELISA Kit

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Glucose-6-Phosphatase, Catalytic (G6PC) levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody Sandwich format and is suited to research applications in metabolism, where G6PC contributes to gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis and has been linked to conditions such as diabetes and glycogen storage diseases.

Manufacturer-reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Recovery in serum (n=5) was 91–105% (average 99%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 85–104% (average 92%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 85–104% (average 94%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 86–101%, 84–98% and 80–97% for serum (n=5), 92–104%, 84–96% and 86–93% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 85–100%, 82–100% and 87–98% for heparin plasma (n=5).

The assay involves preparing standards and samples, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, addition of stop solution, and measurement of absorbance at 450 nm. Kit components are intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.
