Mouse Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1 (Fbp1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1 (Fbp1) in mouse samples. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Fbp1 with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 31.5pg/mL, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. FBP1 is a homotetrameric rate-limiting enzyme in gluconeogenesis that catalyses the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate in the presence of divalent cations; it also plays roles in regulating glucose sensing and insulin secretion of pancreatic beta-cells, modulating glycerol gluconeogenesis in liver, and acting as an important regulator of appetite and adiposity. The target has a reported molecular weight of 36,912 Da (UniProt Q9QXD6) and falls within the metabolism research area.

Reported linearity ranges from 91-101%, 91-103%, 97-109% and 89-99% for serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (N=5); 96-106%, 92-103%, 109-109% and 95-108% for EDTA plasma; and 105-115%, 102-111%, 89-99% and 83-93% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 80% (range 80-80%) for both serum and plasma. Intra-assay and inter-assay CV are each reported as 0.0%. The kit is intended for research use only.
