Mouse FRS2/Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor Substrate 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double-antibody immunoassay from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor Substrate 2 (FRS2) in mouse samples. The assay is colorimetric and detects FRS2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. FRS2 is described as a key signalling adapter protein in the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) pathway, with roles in cell growth, differentiation, and survival, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, developmental disorders, and metabolic diseases.

Assay performance is supported by linearity and recovery data. In serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n = 5), dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 ranged from 88–101%, 89–100%, and 90–99% for serum; 91–105%, 91–101%, and 90–96% for EDTA plasma; and 85–105%, 91–97%, and 91–100% for heparin plasma, respectively. Spike-and-recovery averaged 95% for serum (range 89–104%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 89–95%), and 99% for heparin plasma (range 92–103%). The protocol uses a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP–streptavidin (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit is associated with UniProt Q8C180 and KEGG K12461, and is shipped and stored at 2–8°C, with components stable for 12 months under those conditions.
