Mouse Frizzled-1 (Fzd1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Frizzled-1 (Fzd1), also known as Fz-1, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with reactivity for mouse samples and specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Frizzled-1.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.39 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 7.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been assessed in serum (84–96%, 89–98%, 97–109% and 111–120% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (81–92%, 86–95%, 104–113% and 98–107%) and heparin plasma (91–100%, 95–104%, 80–89% and 82–92%). Average spike-recovery is 81% (range 80–87%) in serum and 83% (range 80–89%) in plasma.

Frizzled-1 is a Wnt protein receptor that signals mainly through the beta-catenin canonical pathway, with downstream effects on cell proliferation, differentiation and polarity. Dysregulation of Frizzled-1 has been linked to cancer, developmental disorders and neurological conditions, supporting its relevance in cancer-related research.
