The Mouse Fractalkine PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of CX3CL1, the sole CX3C chemokine, expressed on neurons, endothelial cells, and activated epithelium. The strip-plate configuration accommodates variable sample throughput without requiring a full microplate run. Researchers apply this assay to studies of microglial activation, monocyte trafficking, NK cell recruitment, and neuroinflammatory disease models. The capture antibody recognizes the chemokine domain, enabling detection of soluble fractalkine released through ADAM10/ADAM17-mediated shedding.
