Mouse Formyl Peptide Receptor 2/FPR2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 (FPR2) in mouse samples using a double-antibody method with colorimetric readout. The kit is reactive with mouse and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Spiked recovery averages were 97% for serum (range 86–105%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 87–103%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 85–103%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 88–94%/83–100%/86–98% for serum, 95–103%/85–101%/81–94% for EDTA plasma, and 96–105%/86–99%/82–100% for heparin plasma.

The workflow is a six-step sandwich protocol: equilibrate reagents and TMB to room temperature and load standards, samples and blanks, then incubate the plate at 37°C for 90 minutes for antigen binding; add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and add stop solution, measuring absorbance at 450 nm. FPR2 is described as a key receptor in immune responses, inflammation and host defence, supporting research in immunology, infectious disease and inflammation-related disorders.
