Mouse Forkhead box protein C2 (Foxc2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Forkhead box protein C2 (Foxc2) in research applications. FOXC2 is a transcription factor that regulates gene expression during development and differentiation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular disorders and metabolic syndromes, making it a useful biomarker for studying disease mechanisms and exploring potential therapeutic targets.

The kit is validated for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and recognises natural and recombinant mouse Foxc2 using a colorimetric readout. According to the manufacturer datasheet, the assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.09 ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 8.3% and an inter-assay CV of 9.9%, with linearity recoveries across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma falling within the 82–122% range at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Sample recovery is listed as 80–87% for serum and 80–89% for plasma.
