Mouse Filaggrin (Flg) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with mouse samples and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse filaggrin.

Filaggrin is a key structural protein that aggregates keratin intermediate filaments and promotes disulfide-bond formation during terminal differentiation of the mammalian epidermis. Dysregulation of filaggrin is associated with skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis and ichthyosis vulgaris, making this kit a useful tool for researchers studying skin biology, dermatology and related fields.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.331ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity testing across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma produced dilution recoveries between 88% and 123%, while spike-recovery averaged 89% for serum (range 83-95%) and 91% for plasma (range 85-97%).
