Mouse Ficolin-2 (Fcn2) ELISA Kit

A high-quality immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Ficolin-2. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, offering specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Ficolin-2 (also referred to as Collagen/fibrinogen domain-containing protein 2, Ficolin-B, Ficolin-beta, L-ficolin, and gene symbol Fcnb).

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Reported linearity values across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (N=5) are 106–116%, 101–111%, 109–119% and 102–112% for serum; 107–117%, 81–91%, 108–119% and 81–91% for EDTA plasma; and 92–104%, 101–111%, 102–112% and 101–111% for heparin plasma. Ficolin-2 (UniProt O70497) is a secreted homotrimer that may function in innate immunity through activation of the lectin complement pathway, acting as a calcium-dependent and GlcNAc-binding lectin that interacts with elastin, MASP1 and MASP2.

The kit is supplied with all reagents required to perform the assay, including a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, substrate, stop solution and wash buffer.
