Mouse Fibulin-2 (Fbln2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Fibulin-2 (FBLN2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is for research use only.

Fibulin-2 is an extracellular matrix protein involved in processes such as cell adhesion, migration, wound healing, tissue remodelling and angiogenesis. It binds fibronectin and certain other ligands in a calcium-dependent manner and may act as an adapter that mediates the interaction between FBN1 and ELN. The protein forms a disulfide-linked homotrimer and is localised to the extracellular space and extracellular matrix.

The kit reports a detection range of 46.9-3000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 23.45pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant mouse Fibulin-2. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with average recovery values of 107% for serum and 109% for plasma, and recovery ranges of 101-113% for serum and 103-115% for plasma.
