Mouse Fibromodulin (Fmod) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Fibromodulin (FMOD), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables detection in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive specifically with mouse samples.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.168 ng/mL. The kit recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Fibromodulin and is intended for research use only.

Fibromodulin is a secreted extracellular matrix protein belonging to the small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family, class II subfamily. It affects the rate of fibril formation and may have a primary role in collagen fibrillogenesis, binding to type I and type II collagen. The protein is also known by the synonyms Collagen-binding 59 kDa protein, Keratan sulfate proteoglycan fibromodulin, KSPG fibromodulin and FM.
