Mouse Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (Fgfr1) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit shows reactivity with mouse samples and detects both natural and recombinant mouse FGFR1. Detection is performed by colorimetric ELISA.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.3pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 6.8% and inter-assay CV as 8.9%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (99-109%, 103-114%, 100-110%, 97-108% at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16), EDTA plasma (89-98%, 110-120%, 109-119%, 102-113%) and heparin plasma (103-112%, 106-115%, 90-99%, 101-111%). Average recovery is 90% (range 84-96%) in serum and 92% (range 86-98%) in plasma.

FGFR1 is a tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as a cell-surface receptor for fibroblast growth factors and plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, differentiation and migration. It is required for normal mesoderm patterning and correct axial organization during embryonic development, normal skeletogenesis and normal development of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neuronal system.
