Mouse Fibroblast growth factor-binding protein 1 (Fgfbp1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich-format ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Fibroblast growth factor-binding protein 1 (Fgfbp1), also known by the synonym FGF-BP. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

The assay is reactive with mouse samples and has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.3pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Fibroblast growth factor-binding protein 1 (UniProt O70514), a secreted carrier protein that releases fibroblast-binding factors (FGFs) from the extracellular matrix and enhances FGF2 signaling during tissue repair, angiogenesis and tumor growth. Recovery is reported at an average of 90% (range 84-96%) for serum and 92% (range 86-98%) for plasma, with linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions: 82-114% in serum, 91-117% in EDTA plasma, and 88-124% in heparin plasma.
