Mouse Fibroblast growth factor 5 (Fgf5) ELISA Kit

FGF5 is a secreted heparin-binding growth factor that plays an important role in the regulation of cell proliferation and cell differentiation. It is required for the normal regulation of the hair growth cycle, functioning as an inhibitor of hair elongation by promoting the transition from anagen, the growth phase of the hair follicle, into catagen, the apoptosis-induced regression phase. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse FGF5, and the protein is known to interact with FGFR1 and FGFR2, with affinity increased by heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycans that act as coreceptors.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.8pg/mL. The kit is intended for research use only.
