It is essential for survival of the postimplantation mouse embryo and required for normal limb and cardiac valve development during embryogenesis. The kit provides a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 15.61pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse FGF4. According to UniProt (P11403), the secreted protein interacts with FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4 and belongs to the heparin-binding growth factors family.
