Mouse Fibroblast growth factor 23 (Fgf23) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative determination of mouse Fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23), employing a colorimetric detection method. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It detects natural and recombinant mouse FGF23 with high specificity, supporting research applications within the signal transduction area.

Quantitative performance is characterised by a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.67pg/mL. Reproducibility is supported by an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery averages 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma.

FGF23 is a key regulator of phosphate and vitamin D metabolism, and dysregulation is associated with chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular diseases and metabolic bone diseases. The kit is intended for research use only.
