Mouse Fibrinogen beta chain (Fgb) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Fibrinogen beta chain (Fgb) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples only.

The kit delivers a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.789ng/mL. Reproducibility is reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averages 86% (range 80-92%) for serum and 88% (range 82-94%) for plasma. Specificity is established for both natural and recombinant mouse Fibrinogen beta chain.

Fibrinogen beta chain is an important component of the blood clotting cascade. The protein is cleaved by thrombin to yield monomers that, together with fibrinogen alpha and gamma chains, polymerize to form an insoluble fibrin matrix with a major function in hemostasis.
