Mouse Fibrillin-1 (Fbn1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Mouse Fibrillin-1 (FBN1) in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Fibrillin-1 is a large extracellular matrix glycoprotein of the fibrillin family that serves as a structural component of 10–12 nm calcium-binding microfibrils, providing long-term force-bearing structural support in elastic and non-elastic connective tissues. The protein has also been linked to connective tissue disorders such as Marfan syndrome.

The assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects natural and recombinant mouse Fibrillin-1. The manufacturer specifies a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.086 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Reported recovery is 101% (range 95–107%) for serum and 103% (range 97–109%) for plasma. UniProt reference is Q61554.
