Mouse FGL2/Fibrinogen Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of FGL2 (Fibrinogen-like protein 2) levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method. The assay delivers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. FGL2 is a key protein involved in immune regulation and thrombosis, with dysregulation implicated in autoimmune disorders, viral infections, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for research into inflammation and blood clotting. Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Performance validation shows linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions of 88-104%, 85-103%, and 86-99% for serum (n=5); 90-99%, 92-98%, and 86-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 83-99%, 88-97%, and 85-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges were 85-100% (average 92%) for serum, 86-100% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples, incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody for a 60-minute incubation, adding HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, developing with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
