Mouse Ferritin, Heavy Polypeptide (FTH) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric microplate kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of mouse Ferritin Heavy Polypeptide (FTH) in research samples, supporting studies of iron homeostasis, hepatic function, oxidative stress, and neurodegenerative disease models. Ferritin heavy chain (FTH) forms the ferroxidase-active core of the 24-subunit ferritin nanocage, the main intracellular iron storage complex, and its abundance shifts distinctly from the light subunit (FTL) in conditions of iron overload, inflammation, and tissue injury.

Sample types include serum, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, and plasma specimens, fitting both in vivo and in vitro experimental designs in mouse models.
