Mouse Fermitin family homolog 3 (Fermt3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA to measure Fermitin family homolog 3 (FERMT3; also known as Kindlin-3) in mouse samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse FERMT3. The kit accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, supporting research into cell adhesion biology and related applications.

Quantitative performance figures include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.084 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 3.2% CV and inter-assay precision at 7.4% CV. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16. Reported recovery averages 100% (range 94-106%) for serum and 102% (range 96-108%) for plasma.

FERMT3 plays a central role in cell adhesion in hematopoietic cells, activating integrin beta-1-3 (ITGB1, ITGB2 and ITGB3) and being required for integrin-mediated platelet adhesion and leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells, as well as for activation of integrin beta-2 in polymorphonuclear granulocytes.
