Mouse FDP/Fibrinogen Degradation Product ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, reading absorbance at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. FDP serves as a biomarker in research on coagulation disorders, inflammatory conditions and cardiovascular diseases.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.094 ug/mL across a working range of 0.156-10 ug/mL. Linearity was verified in serum (n=5) at 89-101%, 93-105% and 90-102% for 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions respectively; in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 88-99%, 88-105% and 84-100%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 89-101%, 86-93% and 82-95%. Spike-and-recovery averaged 92% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 92% in heparin plasma.

The procedure includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection-antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes and TMB development for 10-20 minutes in the dark, with absorbance read at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Kit reagents are stored at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months.
