Mouse FBXO32/F-Box Protein 32 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse FBXO32 (F-Box Protein 32), also known as atrogin-1, a key protein involved in the regulation of muscle atrophy and protein degradation pathways. The assay measures FBXO32 levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples using a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format with read-out at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

FBXO32 plays a critical role in conditions such as muscular dystrophy, sarcopenia, and cachexia, making it an important biomarker for studying muscle wasting disorders and the mechanisms underlying these pathologies. The kit offers high specificity and is suited to research applications requiring reliable and reproducible quantification of FBXO32 in mouse samples.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 23.438 pg/mL and an assay range of 39.063–2500 pg/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (87–105%), EDTA plasma (82–99%), and heparin plasma (81–101%) at serial dilutions. Recovery ranges from 90–102% in serum (average 98%), 90–102% in EDTA plasma (average 97%), and 94–103% in heparin plasma (average 98%). Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with several components requiring protection from direct light.
