Mouse Fatty acid-binding protein, heart (Fabp3) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Fatty acid-binding protein, heart (Fabp3), also referred to as H-FABP, heart-type fatty acid-binding protein or MDGI. Fabp3 is implicated in the intracellular transport of long-chain fatty acids and their acyl-CoA esters, and has been associated with cardiac conditions including heart failure and ischemic heart disease. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and is supplied for cardiovascular research use only.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 98% (range 92-104%) and plasma recovery averaging 100% (range 94-106%). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Fabp3.
