Mouse Factor H/Complement factor H ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Complement Factor H in mouse samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, it is intended for research applications in immunology, where Factor H is studied as a key regulator of the complement system and a biomarker of interest in autoimmune and inflammatory disease research.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 9.375 ng/mL and a standard range of 15.625–1000 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) ranges from 88–103% at 1:2, 87–99% at 1:4, and 81–99% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) spans 92–105%, 85–101%, and 83–98% across the same dilutions; and heparin plasma (n=5) ranges 86–94%, 92–100%, and 83–94%. Recovery averages are 97% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 88–105%, 86–100%, and 85–100%. The kit is stored at 2–8°C and is stated to remain stable for 12 months under those conditions.

Protocol highlights include primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
