Mouse F13b/Factor XIII B Polypeptide ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Factor XIII B Polypeptide (F13b) in research samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric readout. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and an assay range of 3.125-200 ng/mL. In spike-and-recovery testing, EDTA plasma (n=5) yielded a recovery range of 85-104% with an average of 98%, while heparin plasma (n=5) gave a recovery range of 89-104% with an average of 96%. Dilutional linearity for EDTA plasma was 90-95% at a 1:4 dilution and 92-96% at 1:8, and for heparin plasma 90-105% at 1:2, 88-99% at 1:4, and 83-100% at 1:8.

The procedure begins with equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature and recording the positions of standards, samples, and control wells. Standards and samples are then loaded for a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, followed by addition of biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB color development for 10-20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding the stop solution.
