Investigators apply this immunoassay to monitor transporter expression and regulation in mouse models of excitotoxicity, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, temporal lobe epilepsy, cerebral ischemia, and traumatic brain injury. The microplate configuration supports up to 96 individual determinations from tissue homogenate samples, with each kit supplying a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP conjugate, calibrated reference standards, wash buffer, and substrate solution.
