Mouse ESM1/Endocan ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse ESM1 (Endocan). The assay is designed for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL across a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Endocan is a protein implicated in inflammation, angiogenesis and endothelial cell function, and has been associated with cancer, sepsis and cardiovascular disorders, making this kit a useful tool for biomarker research in mouse models.

Validated performance includes linearity of 86–105%, 87–103% and 85–104% for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions respectively; 83–98%, 86–101% and 84–101% for EDTA plasma; and 82–95%, 81–96% and 82–94% for heparin plasma (n=5 each). Average recovery is 96% in serum, 96% in EDTA plasma and 95% in heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
