Mouse Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (ESAM) is a transmembrane junctional glycoprotein concentrated at endothelial tight and adherens junctions, where it helps regulate vascular permeability, platelet–endothelial interaction, and leukocyte transmigration across the vessel wall. Quantitative tracking of this biomarker in murine specimens supports cardiovascular, inflammatory, and tumor-angiogenesis research, including studies of sepsis, atherosclerosis, and metastatic vascular remodeling.

The Assay Genie Mouse ESAM PharmaGenie ELISA Kit delivers colorimetric quantification of soluble and cell-associated mouse ESAM, supplied as a complete reagent set in a 96-assay microplate configuration. The procedure is configured around cell culture supernatant as the default input, and matched protocols extend the same measurement to plasma-derived material as well as serum-derived material so that in vitro and in vivo arms of a study can be compared on the same plate. Each plate is pre-coated with capture antibody and includes standards, detection reagents, and wash buffer sized for one full plate of mouse samples, supporting both single-analyte endpoints and longitudinal time-course work.

Intended for research use only, the kit complements orthogonal readouts such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and western blot when validating endothelial activation phenotypes in mouse models. Components are shipped refrigerated, and storage conditions on the package insert should be observed to preserve antibody binding activity through the stated shelf life. Researchers aliquot reagents before each assay run to limit freeze-thaw cycles on the working stock.
