Epiregulin (EREG) is a 46-residue EGF-family ligand that signals through EGFR and ERBB4 to drive epithelial proliferation, keratinocyte differentiation, and inflammatory responses in mucosal and dermal tissues. Measuring circulating EREG concentrations in mouse models supports wound-healing studies, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease research, periodontal inflammation models, and tumor-microenvironment signaling investigations.

The Assay Genie immunoassay is configured for mouse-derived samples and follows a standard microplate workflow. Each kit supplies a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, lyophilized standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent in volumes sufficient for one complete plate. Researchers in dermatology, oncology, pulmonology, and immunology laboratories apply this reagent to serum-based time-course studies and tissue-lysate comparisons to track EREG modulation in vivo.

Procedural notes: equilibrate reagents to room temperature before use, run standards and unknowns in duplicate, and read absorbance on a standard plate reader. Do not mix components from other lots. The kit is intended for research use only.
