Mouse ER beta/ESR2/Estrogen Receptor beta ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of mouse Estrogen Receptor beta (ESR2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody, colorimetric assay is designed to deliver precise and reproducible measurements across a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL.

The kit is intended for research applications exploring estrogen signalling and gene expression, including reproductive development, bone health, and cardiovascular function. ER Beta dysregulation has been linked to breast cancer, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease, making the assay a useful tool for biomarker and therapeutic studies.

Recovery in serum (n=5) ranges from 86-105% with an average of 96%; in EDTA plasma from 90-103% (average 95%); and in heparin plasma from 90-102% (average 96%). Linearity for serum is 86-104% at 1:2, 88-101% at 1:4 and 82-95% at 1:8; EDTA plasma 91-103%, 83-98%, 83-97%; heparin plasma 86-101%, 82-94%, 84-95%. The protocol comprises primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop step read at 450 nm. Components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
