Mouse Ephrin-A2 (Efna2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Ephrin-A2 (EFNA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay reacts with mouse samples and uses a colorimetric detection method. Ephrin-A2 is a cell-surface GPI-anchored ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases that mediates contact-dependent bidirectional signaling between neighbouring cells. Forward signaling downstream of the receptor and reverse signaling downstream of the ephrin ligand are both important in migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. With the EPHA2 receptor, Ephrin-A2 may also play a role in bone remodeling through regulation of osteoclastogenesis and osteoblastogenesis. The protein is documented at UniProt P52801, with a reported molecular weight of 23,586 Da.
