Mouse EpCAM/TROP1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format designed for the accurate detection of EpCAM (Trop1) levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. EpCAM, also known as Trop1, is described as a cell surface glycoprotein that plays a role in cell adhesion and signaling and is involved in cell proliferation, differentiation and migration, making it a marker of interest in research on cancer, stem cells and epithelial cell biology.

Performance figures provided in the manufacturer's product documentation include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n = 5 each) was reported at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: serum 98-105%, 87-99% and 91-96%; EDTA plasma 94-105%, 87-97% and 91-97%; heparin plasma 89-105%, 89-101% and 92-98%. Spike-and-recovery averages were reported as 90% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges of 89-102%, 87-99% and 88-98%. The detection method is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The kit includes a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer and technical manual. Storage conditions are 2-8°C for 12 months.
