The Mouse Eotaxin-2 (CCL24) PharmaGenie kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of the eosinophil-attracting chemokine CCL24 in clarified samples from murine models, with separate validation for bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, plasma samples, serum samples, and culture supernatant. Eotaxin-2 acts through the CCR3 receptor and is implicated in allergic airway inflammation, eosinophilic esophagitis, parasitic infection responses, and atopic dermatitis research, making this kit useful across studies of Th2-driven immune responses in mice.

Using a matched capture-and-detection antibody configuration, the immunoassay accommodates a small supernatant or serum sample volume and reports chemokine concentrations over a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, with a minimum detectable dose near 7.8 pg/mL. Unopened kits are shipped refrigerated; the microplate should be sealed and stored refrigerated on arrival, with the desiccant kept inside the foil pouch. Reconstituted standard and working detection reagents should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 degrees C to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Each kit ships as a complete 96-well microplate configuration including pre-coated wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized standards, and assay buffers.

Researchers studying eosinophil recruitment, CCR3 ligand biology, or airway inflammation models in rodents use this Mouse Eotaxin-2 ELISA to track CCL24 protein levels in lung homogenates, lavage fluid, and timed serum collections from sensitized or challenged mice. The kit is labeled for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic procedures. Assay Genie supplies validated protocols covering standard curve preparation, wash steps, and OD read-out, allowing reproducible inter-plate comparison across longitudinal studies of allergic inflammation.
