Mouse Endothelial protein C receptor (Procr) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Endothelial protein C receptor (PROCR) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.16ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 8.7% and an inter-assay CV of 10.4%. Spike-and-recovery is 97% (range 91-103%) in serum and 99% (range 93-105%) in plasma. Linearity data in serum (N=5) spans 97-107% to 104-113% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, while EDTA plasma ranges 84-94% to 109-119% and heparin plasma ranges 105-117% to 94-104% across the same dilutions. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant mouse PROCR.

PROCR is a single-pass type I membrane protein (Uniprot Q64695) also referred to as Activated protein C receptor, APC receptor, CD201, Epcr, Centrocyclin, and Centrosomal protein CCD41. It binds activated protein C, enhances protein C activation by the thrombin-thrombomodulin complex, and plays a role in the protein C pathway controlling blood coagulation.
