Mouse Endothelial lipase (Lipg) ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate quantification of endothelial lipase levels in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie targets Mouse Endothelial lipase (Lipg), also known as Endothelial cell-derived lipase or EDL. The assay is intended for research applications in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health, where endothelial lipase plays a role in phospholipid and triglyceride hydrolysis and has been linked to atherosclerosis when dysregulated.

Validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the kit applies a colorimetric ELISA detection method with reactivity specific to mouse. It detects natural and recombinant mouse Endothelial lipase with a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.085 ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and inter-assay CV of 8.8%.

Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery averaging 104% for serum and 106% for plasma. The target protein has UniProt accession Q9WVG5 and is documented as a head-to-tail homodimer with phospholipase and triglyceride lipase activities that preferentially hydrolyses high density lipoproteins and binds heparin.
