Description
Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the detection of mouse endostatin across sample types including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.781-50 ng/mL, supporting reproducible measurement of endostatin in mouse-derived specimens.
Endostatin is a key protein known for its anti-angiogenic properties, inhibiting blood vessel formation and playing a role in tumor growth and metastasis. By measuring endostatin levels with this kit, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and other conditions. Reported linearity spans 82-100% for serum, 82-98% for EDTA plasma, and 85-100% for heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with recovery averaging 95% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma. Associated identifiers include UniProt P39061 and synonyms such as COL18A1 and ES.
The assay procedure follows a sandwich ELISA workflow: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubate standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotin-labeled detection antibody and incubate for 60 minutes, add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, then stop and read absorbance at 450 nm. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
