Mouse Endoplasmin (Hsp90b1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse endoplasmin (HSP90B1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Endoplasmin is a molecular chaperone involved in protein folding and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and autoimmune disease, making it a research target for understanding disease mechanisms and potential therapies.

The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Dilutional linearity in serum spans 80–90% (1:2) to 88–98% (1:16), with EDTA plasma at 87–97% to 107–117% and heparin plasma at 86–97% to 104–114% across the same dilutions. Recovery averages 86% (range 80–92%) in serum and 88% (range 82–94%) in plasma.

The kit recognises natural and recombinant mouse endoplasmin, is associated with the UniProt entry P08113, and is for research use only. Endoplasmin functions as a disulfide-linked homodimeric molecular chaperone that processes and transports secreted proteins, contributes to endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD), and displays ATPase activity.
